It all began with an awesome chalkboard fridge. It seemed like the perfect way to get the children involved when living in the trailer. Then tragedy struck. The chalkboard fridge kicked the bucket and had to be replaced. So what’s a creative mom to do?
If you’re Jessica Perez, you look for another option. Her choice was the front door! Yep, that’s what I said. Jessica decided that the inside of their front door was nothing but a bunch of wasted space waiting to be re-purposed into something great.
She collected her favorite chalkboard paint and made an entirely new entry for their travel trailer. Now the kids can have a blast drawing on the door — that is if Mom doesn’t get there first. Jessica loves to fill the new chalkboard with all the exciting things that the family might do. A chalkboard door offers lots of opportunity for the young and old alike. Not to mention that it’s just darn cute!
What do you think of her new entry door? Would you do something like that? Where would you like to put chalkboard paint? Add your comments in the box below. When you are done, share this article with your friends.
