On many new vehicles, the factory installs a Sirius-branded satellite radio. Your 2006 Dodge could have a Sirius radio depending on the trim package you picked. The Sirius logo printed on the front of the radio indicates you have one. Sirius gives you the ability to receives a satellite radio signal to your vehicle. There is only one to complete a factory reset on the Sirius radio.
Pull the hood release latch, lift the engine hood and set it on the hood prop.
Loosen the nut that secures the negative battery cable onto the negative battery terminal using a socket and ratchet. Pull the cable off the battery terminal for one minute. This removes power to the radio.
Place the negative battery cable back onto the battery terminal and tighten the bolt using a socket and ratchet. This reconnects power to your Sirius radio and completes the reset.
Turn the radio on and enter the radio anti-theft security code into the radio to enable it. The code is usually in the owner's manual or on a sticker inside the glove box. If you do not have the code, contact your dealership. They can obtain it for you.
