Removing the headlight cover on a BMW vehicle for replacement, to install a new bulb or to clean the existing bulbs, is a slightly complicated do-it-yourself task that will take half an hour or more to complete.
Turn the vehicle's headlights off and open the hood. Remove the cover strip by pulling the five clips out.
Remove the headlight cover's seven clips. Start with the bottom clips and remove them from their holes.
Pull the cover off once all the headlight cover clips are removed.
