Radiator stop leak is a specially formulated compound made up of small particles designed to accumulate at the source of a leak in order to prevent it from continuing. Stop leak is not a substitute for replacing a faulty radiator, but it can prolong the service life of a failing radiator until the radiator can be properly replaced. Stop leak is not intended for use in gasoline, motor oil or anything other than engine coolant.
