In 1993, Ford introduced the Mercury Villager minivan to its lineup. If you have a model made from 1993 to 2002, you can easily replace a blown fuse for an electrical issue yourself. All the model years have a similar set up, so you can locate and replace the fuse in just a few minutes.
Locate the Mercury Villager minivan's fuse box below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Open the panel to remove the fuse puller.
Read the cover of the fuse panel to identify the location of the fuse needing to be replaced.
Use the fuse puller and remove the appropriate fuse. Verify that it's not working by looking at the inside to see whether the wire is burned out or not.
Replace the broken fuse with one of the same amperage. Check the amperage on the fuse box cover to make sure you have the right one.
Snap the new fuse firmly in place and close the fuse box. Restart the Mercury Villager to verify the new fuse is working.
