In the passenger compartment of your 1997 Chevrolet Lumina, find the panel labeled "Fuses" on the passenger side of the dashboard. Open the panel and check fuse No. 5 for the hazard flashers or fuse No. 30 for the turn signals. The flasher relay itself is below the driver side of the instrument panel.
There are two underhood electrical panels -- one on each side of the engine compartment. In the panel on the driver side, fuse No. 11 provides voltage to several circuits in the passenger compartment fuse panel, including the circuit for the turn signals.
