Mix a small amount of toothpaste with an equal amount of warm water in a bowl. Stir well with a spoon to make a thin paste.

Rinse the headlights with water and a clean, wet sponge. If there's any buildup still present on the headlights, clean them with more toothpaste mixture and rinse once again.
Dry the headlight covers thoroughly with a towel.
