Tired of buying air fresheners every month? Take hold of your DIY or green side and reuse the air freshener you have. A little essential oil, a zip-lock bag and your old air freshener and you will be set.
For this to work, you will need to use one of the cardboard-type air fresheners, similar to the pine tree types that hang from your rearview mirror.
Place the air freshener inside the zip-lock bag. Pour in 20 to 30 drops of your favorite essential oils. Shut the bag and let sit for 10 to 20 minutes.
To reuse, open the plastic bag and remove the air freshener. Hang the air freshener on the rearview mirror. Save the ziplock for another use.
