The Mazda Miata is a sporty roadster made for speed and handling. It's small, and replacing parts can be tricky. The headlight is an exception to the rule. Changing it out takes just a few minutes.
Unplug the electrical socket from the back of the bulb. The electrical connector pulls away from the back of the bulb/socket.
Grasp the rubber cover and pull it away from the headlight assembly.
Separate the clip to release the bulb. The clip is similar to a safety pin.
Place the new bulb into the headlight assembly. Push the clip back over the socket to secure the bulb.
Push the rubber cover back in place. Ensure the cover is flush to the headlight assembly.
Push the electrical connector to the back of the bulb. The connector locks in place.
