After awhile, the tail light bulb in your 2007 Ford Mustang will burn out. However, there's no need to take your car to a mechanic to fix it for you. You can get a replacement bulb at any auto parts store and easily replace the bulb yourself.
Turn off the headlamp switch inside the car. Make sure the car is turned off as well.
Open the trunk.
Remove the clips located around the tail lamp assembly area and take out the interior trunk trim.
Pull the electrical grommet straight off the lamp assembly. This disconnects the grommet.
Unfasten the three nuts and washers around the lamp assembly and take it out of the trunk.
Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.
Remove the bulb from the bulb socket by pulling it straight out.
Put in the new bulb.
Replace the tail light assembly by reversing the order of the previous steps.
