Today, I will be removing the instrument cluster in my Infiniti G35. It was really confusing at first, but I figured it out. A service manual can aid in the removal of the instrument cluster. So let's get started, just follow the steps below to continue.
Start by removing the plastic piece around the ignition. A flat tip screwdriver could help you remove it.
There are four screws under the steering wheel. Remove those screws and remove the cover.
There are some screws by the pedal area. Remove those screws. Now remove the panel that covers the steering column to the pedals.
There's a cover for the instrument cluster. They might have some screws you might have to remove. After removing the screws, remove that cover. Make sure you unplug any electrical connections.
You are now exposed to the instrument cluster. Unplug all electrical connections. Now remove the instrument cluster. So that's it, you are done.
