If you've owned your Chrysler Sebring for a few years, your headlight bulbs may need replacing. As long as you have the correct replacement bulbs in hand, completing the installation should only take a few minutes and won't require any special tools. These instructions don't apply to models made before 2000.
Set the parking brake and remove the keys from the ignition. Open the Sebring's hood using the primary and auxiliary release latches.
Remove the two headlight mounting screws, and then pry the plastic fasteners away from the assembly using a flathead screwdriver or other flat-bladed tool.
Pull the headlight assembly away from the car. Be careful not to scratch the headlight lens or the exterior paint.
Turn the bulb one-quarter turn counterclockwise and remove it from the assembly.
Pull the old bulb directly out of the socket and replace it with the new one. Dispose of the old bulb to prevent it from becoming a hazard.
Screw the bulb back into the assembly and press the assembly back into position.
Test the headlamp to make sure it works before replacing the plastic fasteners and headlight mounting screws.
