Keeping your Chrysler Town & Country's rear signal lights in working order is extremely important. If one ever burns out or breaks, you can install a new one in just a few minutes. Please note, these instructions don't apply to Town & Country models made before 2001.
Turn off your van to avoid a shock while working on the taillight. Engage the emergency brake for added safety.
Open the liftgate to access the rear storage compartment.
Remove the two screws from the inboard side of the taillight housing.
Insert a fiber stick or screwdriver between the outboard side of the taillight assembly and the van's body, and then pry the assembly loose.
Twist the signal bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the light assembly. Pull the bulb out of the socket.
Replace the bulb, reinstall the socket and screw the light assembly back into place. Make sure the assembly's secure before closing the liftgate and operating your van.
Turn your van back on and test the turn signal to make sure it works.
