If you own a Hyundai Sonata that is from the year 2000 or later and need to replace your wiper blades, then you are in luck. Because with just a wrench, some new blades and 10 minutes of your time you can get your Hyundai ready to hit the road. Here's how.
Locate the nut found at the base of the wiper arm. There will be a small nut which secures the wiper arm to the bolt.
Remove the bolt using your wrench. (It's best to use an adjustable wrench for this procedure so that you get a good grip on the nut.)
Take the wiper arm off the Hyundai Sonata. Be sure that you set the nut someplace where you won't lose it.
Press the release tab on the wiper arm to release the old wiper blade.
Remove the old wiper blade and discard.
Slide the new wiper blade along the wiper arm track until it aligns and "clicks" into place.
Fasten the wiper arm back to the bolt using your wrench and nut.
Repeat this procedure on the other wiper arm to complete the installation of the wiper blades on your Hyundai Sonata.
