Headlamps on a vehicle are important safety components to drivers. Headlamp bulbs burn out, just like regular light bulbs. When headlamps on a Suzuki Forenza burn out or malfunction, they need to be replaced. Headlight bulb replacement can be done just about anywhere as long as you have replacement bulbs.
Open the hood and prop if necessary.
Unscrew the two bolts and one nut securing the headlamp housing in place using a socket or crescent wrench and turning counterclockwise. Turn the headlamp cap counterclockwise to remove it
Disconnect the wires from the back of the bulb. Remove the spring which holds the bulb in place. Put on a pair of latex gloves. Remove the old bulb and replace it.
Reinstall the bulb spring and reconnect the wires to the new bulb. Reinstall the headlamp cap by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
Reinstall the headlamp housing by screwing in the two bolts and one nut, using a wrench. Turn the bolts and nut clockwise until they are snug. Close the hood and test the new headlamp to see if it works. Remove the latex gloves.
