Many Dodge Sprinters feature an active service system connected to the onboard computer that informs the driver when the next oil-change service is due. The oil monitor message appears on the display about 1,900 miles in advance of when the service should be performed. You should reset the oil-monitoring system after changing the oil. Resetting the monitor allows the computer system to track the intervals between oil changes accurately.
Press the "M" menu button on the steering wheel repeatedly until the oil-monitor message is displayed.
Press the up or down arrow on the control panel until it displays the remaining miles until service is due.
Press and hold the reset button on the control panel until the oil-monitor message resets.
