The 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt came in multiple flavors. For buyers who wanted higher performance, the Cobalt SS models were the way to go. The base SS had a 2.4-liter engine with 171 horsepower and 163 foot-pounds of torque, while the SS Supercharged model sported a 2.0-liter engine with 205 horsepower and 200 foot-pounds of torque. Both versions of the SS used low-profile tires for better handling, but the SS Supercharged model used Z-rated tires for handling higher speeds.
The Cobalt SS came standard with 205/50SR17 tires on it, while the SS Supercharged model came with 215/45ZR18 tires.
