A tire pump can be a cyclist's best friend, especially when you're out in the middle of nowhere and you've got a flat. A Bell tire pump, such as the AirStrike model, is light and compact. It attaches to the frame of the bicycle and can be properly secured with ease in a matter of minute by professionals and amateurs alike.
Decide whether the pump should be mounted on the bicycle seat tube or down tube. There are bolts included in the kit for either tube.
Lubricate the mounting bolt threads and holes with all-purpose bicycle grease. If you decide to mount the tire pump where the bottle cage is fixed, unscrew the bottle cage and lube this area for mounting the pump.

Align the eyelets of the pump's mounting bracket with the holes on the bicycle's frame.
Thread the manufacturer's bolts through each hole then use a 4 mm Allen key to fully tighten the bolts.
Slide the Bell tire pump into the mounting bracket.
