In 1994, the GMC Suburban had a pair of gasoline V-8 engines available: a 5.7-liter with 200 horsepower and 300 foot-pounds of torque, and a 7.4-liter with 230 horsepower and 385 foot-pounds of torque. When doing a tuneup on either engine, AC Delco spark plugs are not only safe to use, but they are the brand of plug that GMC prefers.
For either engine, GMC recommended using AC Delco No. CR43TS spark plugs in the 1994 Suburban. You can, however, use a different brand of plug, as long as they are equal or greater quality. The 1994 GMC requires a spark plug gap of 0.045 inches.
