Never overlook the details. That’s our mantra with the Wunderdog as we transform her to show-quality status. The key to a clean ride is a lot of elbow grease. Trim parts often get neglected as most people focus on only the exterior paint. The judges are looking at everything as a package, not just how many coats of wax you laid on.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS NEEDED: General purpose cleaner, scrub brush, black spray paint, 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper, Mothers BACK-to-BLACK, bucket and soft cloths. A well-ventilated area helps, too.

PAINTING THE PILLAR COVERS

Restoring Your Faded Black Plastic Trim - Project Car Magazine   |   07 Check out our ratty old pillars. Pathetic huh? We needed a way to bring them back to like-new status and the solution was to repaint them in gloss black.
