If you’re building your car to be anything like the Wunderdog, you’ll want to gut your interior for both weight savings and great looks. Nothing is worse than a nice clean car with sound deadening covering the floor boards.
Fortunately there is a fairly simple and effective method for removing that mess.
TOOLS NEEDED: Dry ice, gloves and safety goggles (for handling dry ice), hammer/mallet (for breaking up dry ice) and something to scrape the material with.
A TIP FROM JESUS
In many cases, unlike the Wunderdog, the material underneath the sound deadening will be bare metal, so plan ahead and be prepared to paint or seal the floorboard if necessary.
