Dealer-Delivered Attitude - Readers Letters
With respect to the article, "Dealer-Delivered Attitude" (July/Aug. '14), I'd be remised in stating that the second-generation Lightning, 454SS and SRT10 weren't game changers. But to make the statement that the SVT Raptor is "the second truck effort of Ford's factor hot-rod division" would totally dismiss Ford's first-generation, naturally aspirated, 351ci small-block Lightning. This fact makes the Raptor Ford's third hot-rod truck effort.

Dear Reader,
You make a valid point, and don't get us wrong; we never meant any disrespect to the first-generation Ford Lighting. The confusion lies in the how the author wrote the article, as he lumped the first and second-generation Lightnings into one. We apologize to first-gen Lightning owners everywhere.
